Crash is getting a new kilt

So as the title suggests I'm getting a new kilt and I have ordered it from the good folks at Houston Kiltmakers. I needed a kilt to fit when I am between my maximum weight and my trim weight. I have three kilts that fit my trim self and I am on my way back there but I have a piping competition coming up and my "fat" kilt is an ex-hire that's not the greatest. Perfect drinking kilt though. I digress. I have ordered an 8 yd Superior Super Machined kilt in Houston's own tartan, which is Teflon coated. The kilt will be in Ancient Colquhoun tartan but pleated to the double black stripe that runs down the center of the blue block. The kilt will be about 60% hand stitched and the rest machine stitched. The best of both worlds I think. I am paying the bonus for a rush job but the wait is still trying. My other Colquhoun kilt is pleated to the red stripe so this one should be interesting.
    cheers

I know there is a photo of your kilt (pleated to the red stripe) in old threads but I would like to see the new "double black" in comparison. When the time comes for my Colquhoun tartan decision, I'll have a reference.

    Good for you "Cuz".

My kilt was being held hostage for payment of import duties. I have made payment so it should be arriving tomorrow.
