Pics of Highlanders in Scotland wearing THCD

I thought it would be great to start a thread of modern Highlanders wearing THCD in Scotland. Colin and I wrote the article about THCD with multiple photographic examples from xmarks members but I think it would be nice to have a thread where photos of the various and sundry long time kilt wearers living in Scotland nowadays would be of some use. Maybe pics since the year 2000 and forward would be most appropriate? I know some members have some great repositories of pics. Does anyone have some pics to add to this thread?

I think many of my pictures you already have in yours and Colin's opening thread. I could come up with a few that have probably been posted here before, but might not have seen the light of day for a while. Any good?

Well alright, here we go. Many will think THCD is all about tweed jackets, brogues and bonnets, not necessarily so. Many wonder why I carry the cromach---my back was hurting. Many will wonder why the bonnet -------it was hot(for Scotland) and the bonnet is useful for carrying the Xmarks dandelion, normally I would not wear a bonnet in the circumstances. Shoes and hose are not shown but Black brogues and probably claret hose worn at the correct height and blue flashes.

Here's another photo from a Scottish wedding in 2013, showing a dad escorting his daughter to the church:

No PC, fly plaid, dirk, or white hose to be seen...

it was taken outside of my wife' maternal Grandfather's house in Aboyne.
Jock Morrison is wearing the Morrison red tartan kilt complete with matching tie. I am wearing his Morrison green tartan kilt, which he said had shrunk in the closet. My son is wearing overalls in Black Watch.
And just so there is no confusion neither my son or I are pretending to be Scottish, although I was mistaken for being one until I opened my mouth.
    Cheers...
