David Feherty, Irish gold commentator, dons the kilt for the Open at Royal Troon

David Feherty, retired Irish golfer and now golf commentator donned the kilt for the Saturday and Sunday rounds of the British Open this weekend, at none other than Royal Troon golf course (I am not going to take THIS story there however). Not sure what tartans he wore but he rented out at MacGregor MacDuff (in nearby Prestwick I believe) who adverts here just above my lead post as one of the partners. Seems David bet one of the officials on the course that two particular golfers would not make the cut, and both did so David lost and his payment was to wear the kilt on Saturday. Then he liked it so much he donned it again, in a different tartan, on Sunday. Watch the first short video, then hang around for the follow up on his experience with gorse (in a different tartan kilt as well).

He looks rather dapper, even though in the last photo he is wearing a ballcap type golf hat under his headphones.

I would figure Feherty would be donning a kilt on tv many times by now. He's not the type to be concerned with with others think. He's a hilarious guy. The link no longer works BTW.

But what's the deal with the two guys in bunny suits in the gallery?
