    Highland Park Dark Origins

IMHO Highland Park 15 YO is the best fully balanced whisky... It is the reference standard I use to judge all other whiskys.
If you liked the Highand Park 15 YO, give Highland Park Dark Origins a try - double cask - first fill, sherry cask aged - Oh my god! great! About US$5 more than the 15 YO.

It is 46.8% but doesn't need watering to be tasty and smooth. The notes are that strong! The second ounce in the Glencairn glass was as great as the first. This could be a good problem.
Will re try with a touch of water tomorrow and report back. Two ounces and this "light weight's" senses are too dulled.

Don't get me wrong, I like the peat heavy whiskys also when in that "peat bog" mood.
This new find is "blowing my kilt up" today!

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
