Burn Supper Night around Atlanta?
Just trying to schedule my evenings and I'm wondering if there will be anyone hosting Robert Burns Supper this month. If not, then let's get one started. I've got a great location in Marietta if anyone's interested.

Interesting timing. I was planning to ask Jim today this same question. So, @thescot , Jim, what's happening with Burns
supper this year? As usual, I am available, if someone else wants the haggis address this year, have at. I'll be available for a song, maybe two with an arm twist. For a price, I might be willing to forgo singing at all. I'll say look at the 21st or 28th,
Saturday eliminates Friday afternoon traffic issues. 28th allows more planning time. Jim, have you already spoken with the Tavern?
@Creag, @Wareyin, @Catharps, @Leprechaun 91, @Deil the Yin, @Thomas H, @Kilt-lope, @WClarkB, @Cardinal,
PS: As he's not on the forum, I put in a call to Charlie, who did for us "My Love is Like A Red,Red Rose" last year. Will hear back.

I had so much fun last year. Unfortunately I am hoping to be at sea this year. There is no guarantee of work offshore right now though, so if I'm home, I'd love a ticket!

I will have to see when I am available, but Marietta is far closer for me than the Tavern!

I have tentatively set up the Celtic Tavern for Jan 21, but not cast in Stone.

Just got a call back from Jim. He has spoken with the Tavern already, they are fine with either date; he and Creag
had spoken about it earlier, apparently. He was typing as we spoke, reaching out to @AlabamaCelticLass and to Rusty, our piper. I have a possible backup piper if we have a repeat of last year's events. Didn't note above that I had already left Lamar a message, he always comes.

Reading about the planning is so very exciting! I have wanted for years to attend a Burns Supper. Thank you gentlemen for the gracious invitation.
I would be happy to contribute somehow, perhaps a side dish or dessert.... whatever is needed.
