R.R. McIan print question "The Feud"

I’m trying to find a print called “The Feud” and involved Maxwell & Johnstone Clans. There are a few images that look like the two sides but are neither of those clans. I saw it on EBay several years ago and have not seen it since. Obviously it is some sort of variation/combination on the McIan prints. I was wondering if anyone has any info on this print and if there is an availability. Google has failed to find me anything, so I plead to the masses. There aren't many Maxwell prints.

    Thanks in advance.

All the R.R. McIan prints I've seen are from the Clans of the Scottish Highlands book. As you know, the Maxwells were Lowland Scots. The only art I've come across of the Maxwell–Johnstone feud is a painting of the Battle of Dryfe Sands, which you can see here:

Angus McBride has some interesting Border Reiver art, though I've no idea if/where prints could be purchased.

I'll be curious to see where this thread leads...

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but the setting of painting at the link is Langholm Castle (at Langholm) some 18 miles from the site of the Dryfe Sands battle location near Lockerbie.

I never said it was a particularly good or accurate painting, rather the only one I'm aware of that portrays any incident from the Maxwell-Johnstone feud!😳

It seems that I must have had a Winston Churchill moment*

I'm combing through files on my computer as I may have saved a thumbnail from EBay. If I come across it I will happily share it. Thanks for the info on the other artwork as well. Interesting to read the history involved as well.
