Help identifying Tartan please
Hi guys. I bought this used (for a very good price) , thinking it was a veriation of a black watch pattern. But the more I look, the less I think it is one. My next thought was Campbell, but that doesn’t look right either.
Help please, much appreciated.

Can you post a picture of the tartan? There isn't anything showing in our post, unless you are referring to your icon.
The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
He kens na where the wind comes frae, But he kens fine where its goin'.

Nevermind
Sorry guys I’m an old fart and apparently not computer literate enough to figure this out. Sorry for wasting everyone’s time. Moderators feel free to delete this.

Yep, I recognized it as soon as I saw the pic. Not that I have anything remotely resembling your knowledge of tartans; I just happen to have it in the Modern palette:

I'm curious to see how the Ancient looks as an actual kilt. Since receiving my 13oz Murray of Tullibardine fabric from House of Edgar and finding it a bit nicer than the 16oz Lochcarron above, I've thought about getting some in MacCallum as well...unfortunately they don't carry it in 13oz in Modern, but they do have it in Ancient so I might just give it a try.
