Texas Scottish Festival, May 11 - 13, 2018
I see that the TSF has found a new site for the event — Decatur, TX (25 miles NW of Fort Worth and 45 miles NW of Dallas).
I wonder if this new site will affect attendance dramatically? Seems like it could be a boon for Decatur (population 6,648).
I'll be curious to see how this turns out!
Who else will be there?
Cheers,

I'll be there. Interesting to see how the new venue turns out.
"My beloved America, thank you for your children. If your children want to become soldiers I will train them. When they are hungry I will feed them. When they are thirsty I will give them water. When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

Unfortunately, I'll have to pass. I'll be preping for racing at COTA the next weekend. Hopefully the "crowd" will support the move.

This is a venue that Jerry McIntyre convenes for CMA, with other MacIntyres assisting, as I have not been able to go in several years.
Will you be convening for the Maxwells, Shaun?

Yes, I’m planning on it.
I was never a big fan of the UTA venue, but worry that the move to Decatur will negatively impact turnout. Guess we’ll find out in May!
That said, I’m looking forward to it no matter where it is.
Guess you’ll be working out of state again during the event this year?
