    Sporran identification

A member of my family has forwarded on to me a couple of highland items that apparently belonged to a relative a bit further out on the family tree.

These include the sporran pictured below. Just curious about the maker and vintage. The only markings are a stamp on the back: a "TD" surrounded by Made in Scotland in a circle. Any thoughts? Thanks.

TD is probably Thomas Dunlop of Glasgow. He made some very fine sporrans with silver cantles. This sporran looks to be 1930s. However, it could be as early as 1914 and probably no later than 1937.

Thanks for this. That timeframe would make sense given this relative was a Great War veteran.
