    Small Regulation Doublet and Waistcoat

Small size Regulation Doublet and Waistcoat from the 1930s

It is close to a UK size 36 regular but probably bespoke. It is very finely tailored in black wool. Measurements are: waistcoat chest 36 inches; jacket chest 38 inches; point of shoulder to point of shoulder across the back 15.5 inches; and point of shoulder to cuff about 24 inches.

I purchased this with a sporran I wanted at a recent auction and if it fitted me I would keep it. It is in near perfect condition and freshly dry cleaned. Only the silver-plated buttons show any sign of slight wear. Any apparent marks are caused by the camera! For sale at £65.00 plus postage.

    Interested.

That is damn near exactly my size. In your pictures, the waistcoat seems darker than the jacket. Is that the case to your eye?

The apparent colour difference is something to do with the camera. Both jacket and waistcoat are true black with no sign of fading.

    Hi,

I'm interested and I'd offer £50.00 plus postage to California. Hopefully the postage isn't too bad. Let me know how to pay you. I can do paypal if you have it and that might be the easiest way to convert funds.

    Let me know

£50 plus postage will be fine Warren, as will Paypal. PM me your address and I will obtain the postage costs. Happy to include a white marcella waistcoat that came with the doublet and matching waistcoat.
