    New sweater & hose

I just added this pic that my wife took yesterday. I'm slowly picking up some items that seem to work well with my kilt. I found the sweater at a local Sears outlet. Now I need some nice shoes.
I wore this all day Sunday at the antique fair. I got a ton of compliments on it!

You look great Al the jumper is just the thing for the kilt.

If I might suggest an ankle length boot for casual. As Hamish would say: "It's all about balance."

I love it Al, it's fits very well with a kilt.

I would love to have an Aran woolen jumper with those 'rope' patterns, one day!

Do you ride your bike kilted?

Thanks Graham! I'd been looking for an inexpensive sweater for almost a year, this one came from a discount bin at Sears. It wasn't exactly what I originally wanted, but after wearing it with the kilt I couldn't be happier with it.

I don't ride the bike kilted. I'm a firm believer in wearing protective gear on the bike, so the very least I wear on my legs are jeans. Gotta keep some pants around for bike riding. I also need jeans for my new job. I was told I could wear a kilt while doing long-haul driving, but for local work most of the job sites we deliver to require specific safety equipment. Even shorts are not allowed at some places. Unfortunately it will be some time before they start sending me on long-haul trips.
