Khaki hose ... again

I know it comes up every couple of years. Where to buy plain khaki military hose? Nothing fancy, just plain (slightly ribbed) hose with a plain cuff. I'm looking for some very simple kilt hose that would suit a casual, outdoorsy style with no frills or decoration.

Usually, WhatPriceGlory is the default answer. They carry a reproduction of WWII style khaki hose. I'd buy some there, but they only have medium and large. I'd need a small size.

I also found Arbon Socks, which happens to carry some fairly plain shooting socks that might do. The colour range doesn't include a khaki hue, but they do have dark green and brown (though it seems they're out of stock on most of their choices).

Most other "shooting socks" suppliers have way too much decoration in their designs. And I'm having a hard time finding kilt hose that don't have cable knit style cuffs or popcorn tops or other patterns. I just want plain, unadorned kilt hose in a green-to-brown colour range. Do you have other sources I should be looking into?

Steve, I actually own a pair of those in oatmeal as well as Lovat blue just like your photo shows. Yeah, I'm looking for something with a plainer top, and perhaps more substantial in thickness in both the hose and the cuff. And a darker brown to greenish shade, approaching olive.

Toby, if the color bleeds out of the hose you just "coffee brewed." add a cup of apple cider vinegar to the mix next dying job. That will set the color better in the hose. Rinse with fresh cold water to get the odor out (unless you prefer the smell of pickles).
