Huntsville, AL St. Patrick's Day Parade
Myself and several other members of one of the local motorcycle groups have signed up to participate in the local St. Patrick's Day parade this Saturday. We will be donning our kilts, riding our motorcycles in the parade, and then congregating at one of the local breweries afterward. I thought I would share the details of this in case any members would like to join us, either in the parade itself or afterward.
If you would like to ride with us we will be gathering at Straight to Ale, located at 2610 Clinton Ave W, Huntsville, AL 35805, at 09:45 am and riding over to the mustering area at 10:15 am. If you do plan to ride please let me know so we can develop a reasonable idea of how many people will be there.
The parade itself begins at 11:30 am and following it's completion we will proceed directly back to Straight to Ale for the St. Patrick's Day on the Green after-party.

Looks like I spoke a little too soon on this.
Due to the low temperatures our most of our group decided to withdraw from the parade.
They said something about motorcycles, cold wind blowing up the kilt, and not wanting frostbite on certain sensitive areas.

I absolutely understand. The decision was driven(ridden?) by over half of the group but I'll admit that I didn't protest too much. Honestly my main reason was that the two people who were towing their bikes dropped out so I lost my secure gear storage location since I was not going to ride 30 miles there and back in a kilt.

My apologies, really; I was yanking y’all’s chains. I plan to get to the parade, should be about 50 degrees when the parade starts. I’ll just have to wear a jacket instead of a tee shirt.

Absolutely no need to apologize. My skin is much much thicker than that. The wife and I will probably be at the parade as well. Maybe I'll see you there.
