Certainly one of the strangest kilt-related things I've seen on Ebay, ever.

It looks like some Brigadoon type theme outfit. Absolutely horrendous!

(Actually, it seems to be a fancy dress costume).

Comment would be superfluous.

Yes, I noticed what appeared to be a clown on the label. Definitely an intentionally silly costume piece. But some poor sucker is probably going to buy it and wear it to a Highland Games!

Karnevalsweirts is a large costume store in Germany. They have outlets in Frankfurt, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Münster, Dortmund, Essen, and Würselen.

I actually saw almost the exact outfit at my last Highland Games. Except the guy had added a muckle sword over his shoulder.
He was with another guy who must have bought his outfit at the same store but with some great kilt looking thing on the bottom. And a sword of course.
They were both with women sporting fairy wings.

Thanks!
Now "karneval" is obvious enough, and I've seen Swierts as a last name, but I don't know what "swierts" or "wierts" means in German.
