    Vintage Regulation Doublet

I've had a PC for a while but it's always been on the small side and I wanted to replace it. However, I was hoping to find a regulation doublet for a bit different look than the PC. I hadn't had luck over the past couple years of keeping an eye out but recently I saw a vintage one appear on eBay with almost perfect measurements. No maker label but based on what the pictures showed, it looked to be well made and I figured I'd take a chance. It arrived this week and I'm very impressed; well made and some nice details.

Although the listing just said wool, so I was expecting barathea, it is actually doeskin which would have been my choice of buying a new one. I also found a monogrammed handkerchief in one of the pockets as an added bonus.

Now just to wait for events to start happening again so I can wear it!

The Regulation Dublet is my preferred style for evening wear.

Have you checked the inside of the inner jacket pockets? Makers sometimes put their label there.

I did and there's nothing; would be nice to know more but that seems unlikely at this point.
