For books you could add Bloody Scotland by Terry Deary http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...663043-9294851 Ireland by Terry Deary http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...663043-9294851 Cutthroat Celts also by Terry Deary http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...663043-9294851 They are History books for school kids under the Horrible histories titles...They are a lot of fun for adults too I'd also reccomend. The Illustrated Enncyclopedia of Tartan By Iain Zaczek and Charles Phillips http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...663043-9294851 This book is worth it's money just for it's pictures alone

It doesn't deal with kilts in particular, but the start of each chapter has a kilted gent in a different tartan posing with regards to the topic. Great Scots! is about the Scottish history of Canada. An excellent read.

Since then, I have read several good reviews of it and so have ordered it from Amazon, together with "Tartan, The Highland Textile" by James D. Scarlett. I expect to receive both together in late November.
