    Mocker evaluation

    Afternoon all,

Overall I'm pleased with the mocker, preferring the styling to that of the Neo-traditional.

The workmenship of this kilt, is cleaner and more accurate then that of the UK Neo I have. The two hip pockets are deep enough to keep things from falling out without the need for flaps (looks cleaner), I like the slanted opening of the side pockets it makes it easier to gain access to the pockets contents. These pockets are also very roomy, in fact they are so deep I had a tough time getting my keys out. The internal pockets make for a much nicer looking kilt IMO.

Other then the pockets being to deep for my taste (I'll shorten the pockets tonigh when I add garment hooks to the wiast band) I have not a single complaint about this kilt. I like the look, the feel and the fit, the beer gut cut really makes a difference in how it falls.

    On a scale of 1 - 5, the Mocker gets a 5.

At 6' 3" - 330lbs. finding close that fit, feel good and look okay is no small feat, kilts are all that.

I think for my next kilt I'd like an eight yard woolen traditional in either black or charcoal.

    Thanks Colin,

That looks to be more of what I have in mind then a kilt that wraps around ones naval.

I met Howie from 21st Century at the Chicago Celtic Fest. He had the absolute most fabulous charcoal tweed 6 yard I think. It's been almost 2 months now and I still can't shake it's image from my head, I want it so bad it hurts. But I already have 16 kilts, and my kilt bugdet is very low right now. Maybe you can get it and I can ride your buzz for a while?

I have a grey Mocker, I like it well enough. Being grey it is slightly above casual everyday wear. Be careful when you urinate that you get the front pockets out of the way, kinda gross, but I peed on mine twice before I figured it out .
