I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been looking on this site for a while now and have found great information to a lot of questions I had. I also found answers to questions I didn’t even know I had and have really enjoyed the historical side of things. I joined the kilted world at our wedding almost 10 years ago wearing the royal stewart tartan with my dad and brother. Last august I got my first kilt, my DKNE greenhorn, and now have dreams and ambitions of going pants free for the rest of my life. I have a second DKNE on the way and have plans to make myself and my wife our first tartan kilts out of PV that I was gifted many years ago in royal stewart. My ultimate goal is to design my own tartan based around the stewart tartan. I bet you can’t guess what my last name is?. I also have dreams of getting the great plaid, not sure what stewart tartan to get that in, one day.

from Toronto, my mom is a Stewart and I wore Royal Stewart to my wedding some years ago, it is always a good choice. As for a Great kilt, I would steer away from Royal Stewart and perhaps focus on a large sett Hunting Stewart instead. Of course as we are talking Stewart tartan here there is a plethora of choices.
