Question for USA kilts casual kilt owners.
I’ve only ever worn a worsted wool kilt with a lining between the wool and your skin. I know the pv casual kilt from USA Kilts has no lining. Assuming your are being ‘traditional’ with what you are wearing under the kilt, is the lack of lining a problem? Is the pv material itchy at all? Would it be worth it , or possible, to have a cloth lining sewn in?

It's not scratchy at all. It is a twill, so its not exactly soft when new, but it's not like a pair of Carhartts or anything.
While I'm not sure how "traditional" going "regimental" is, and I don't myself, I'm sure you could do so just fine.

Never had an issue; no lining needed. Easy to wash and press when necessary.
