    I was rather shocked

I had my son home from the Citadel for the weekend (My wife's grandmother's funeral). When we took him back to Charleston on Sunday, I wore a pair of shorts for the first time this year. Most of my time has been spent in my kilts. Anyway, When I got out of the vehicle at a convience store, I noticed that I felt uneasy! I wasn't in my kilt and I felt like everyone was looking at me! Is that really strange or what?

Donnie, I can relate, you felt "out of kilter"

I spent a day in shorts this week, first in weeks, things just didn't seem right at all. It wasn't ME.

Just admit it, you're hopelessly addicted!

I thought someone gave me a sideways look the other day and looked down to remember that due to chilly conditions I was wearing jeans for a change. Maybe I simply get odd looks, kilted or not. Egad!

I too must confess, that when I am not kilted I feel funny! Out of touch with who I really am. It definetly is an odd feeling!

You know, that's the first time I saw it as a little guy with a sword in his hand. To me it, until now, it has looked like the little guy is was riding on some kind of knife or sword, like a witch on a broomstick. I guess it's kind of like one of those illusional drawings where to some people it looks like a mountain and to others it looks like a hole.

You guys need professional help, you really do!!

Does this one look better? The brush is mightier than the sword, besides, I'm a pacifist (until people get me riled).

Hey! I represent that, remember we are all eccentric.

There was a news item on telly tonight about this geezer who's life went pear shaped 'cos he was so eccentric.

I turned to my trouble 'n' strife and said "heck, I'm glad I'm not eccentric".

She looked at me in a strange kinda way.
