FS: Hunters of Brora Tweed - 4m by 1.6m
I have some remaining fabric that I used for some personal projects, but this is now taking up space. It is 4m x 1.6m (all one continuous piece)
I would ask for £180 + £10 P&P posted to anywhere in the UK
I would ask for £180 + £20 P&P posted to anywhere in the EU
I would ask for £180 + £30 P&P posted to anywhere in the RoW
Should say that as always, I am open to offers

Because I unfortunately have a funeral to pay for, I will price drop from £180 to £130 (plus postage costs)

that is a good question, if will try and put it on a scale either today or tomorrow. But its quite heavyweight. I would say its on par with the 16oz kilt I have in terms of weight.

I have tried 2 different sets of scales - one says 3lb 4oz for the fabric, another says 5lb 6oz, which puts it between 8.125oz and 13.5oz, but it feels thicker than my kilt wool at the same weights.
I will try a 3rd one tomorrow, and then average all 3.
*edit*
looking online, it states that Hunters of Brora typically dealt with 13oz for summer wear, and 24oz for winter wear, I can definitely say it is NOT the 24oz weight. I will find one more scale tomorrow (I used kitchen and bathroom scales), maybe taking it to the post office and let you know!

Reason: added small find from googling.

3 different scales, 2 came out at 13.5oz...so would leave me to believe that that is the correct weight
