Scotland’s men win world curling ( wearing kilts, not so much)

Congratulations to the the Scottish men’s curling team, for winning the 2023 Worlds Cup. Are we seeing the influence of kilt rental shops, rather than traditional knowledge, in the wearing of the kilt, in this photo?

I can see nothing that is obviously "kilt hire attire" although the chap on the right of the picture might have a rather modern sporran that might have come from a hire shop, but equally could be from almost any kilt shop in Scotland. I think the choice of trews is very sensible considering the slippery conditions, so again that is not obvious "hire shop", to my mind.
