    Two Mackenzie badge question

I've recently begun exploring the Mackenzie side of my heritage and I have a question. There are two crests and I wanted to know if there was a difference. Does anyone know why there are two? The second crest isn't unlike the badge of the Seaforth Highlanders, not surprising since that second crest is called Mackenzie of Seaforth. I'm mainly worried that someone without Seaforth Highlander connections wearing that crest would be like wearing a SH regimental badge, best not done unless you served. I am aware of the connection between the Mackenzie Earls of Seaforth and the Seaforth Highlanders.

MacKenzie Clan symbols are discussed here: https://clanmackenzie.net/symbols.html

This is a Seaforth Highlanders cap badge, I don't think it's very likely that it would be confused with the clan badge shown in your post.
