Scottish pics to get you up there.
Just a few of the pics I took a couple of years ago when I last visited the highlands, only 3 weeks to go before I am there again. This time I will definitely be wearing the kilt. So hopefully will have some of me on location.

Cant wait to get there again.

thanks Jock have already got my supplies of Jungle Formula extra strong. Thats the only part I am not looking forward too. Its the first time I have been up there in August so am aware of the possibility of the little blighters. Hopefully the whisky will act as an antihistamine.

You might try Avon's "Skin So Soft". Smells and feels good to humans -- does NOT to midges. Check the inside of my thighs sometime , not a welt and baby's bottomish.

I have heard about Avon Skin So Soft there are a lot of postings on the web extolling its virtues. Will get some of that as well. thanks for reminding me.
This upcoming trip I hope to get to Ardnamurchan, Applecross via Bealach Na Ba pass, Glenfinnan, Glen Affric and hopefully attending Grantown on Spey Highland Games, just a shame I will be missing the Braemar Gathering which is taking place the day of my return.
Many thanks for all of your kind comments on the photos.

Magnificent shots, there are two there from Inverary with absolutely fabulous reflections on Loch Fyne.
I also apply Avon Skin So Soft at this time of year as a midge repellent. The midges have been particularly severe here in the southern uplands of Scotland this summer, their population is estimated to be one third more than last year.

Thanks Cessna152towser you are absolutely correct from top to bottom they are Buchaille Etive Mor, loch Etive, Inverary x 2, Loch Lomond, Eilean Donan Castle and Loch Shiel and the Jacobite Memorial.
Glad you like them.
Kind regards
