    Clan Barclay dress tartan kilts

Does anyone have any pictures of Clan Barclay dress tartan kilts? I'm trying to decide between having modern or muted material ordered by my local kilt-making friend, and I'd like to see how they look in kilt form before I make the choice.

I'm not of Clan Barclay, but I live in Pittsburgh, PA and plan on wearing this black and gold kilt with a self-made football sporran (I'll post pictures when I finally get it started, but I'm sewing up an X-kilt first), my hair down, a Polamalu jersey, and a pair of black and gold striped knee-high socks.

In the first photp is the modern colors. The second is the muted colors from House of Edgar. Please forgive the white hose, I didn't know better.

The muted is more of a 'gold' color for any pittsburg fan (any pburg team)

Thanks for the pictures! I like them both, but the muted definitely seems more of a Stillers gold.

Know of anyone who sells your kilt fabric in your muted dress tartan at a relatively low price?

I bought it around four years ago for $75/yd from the Tartan Museum. But it might have gone up since then. The muted comes from House of Edgar and is in their Old and Rare collection. And it is only available in 13oz. I would suggest one of the vendors supporting this forum.
