Relay chat
Do any of you folks use IRC ? Might be a nice way to have a little realtime conversation now and then

I use msn for chat, anyone here is welcome to chat with me: tassiecelt@hotmail.com
However, cos I'm Down Under the times may a bit different.
I tried IRC a few years ago and found it too confusing. I can't cope with chatting with more than 2 or 3 people at once.

Graham, I spend probably too much time on IRC in a news and politics channel. It seems a bit confusing at first but not very difficult. What crosses my mind is I doubt there'd be very many of us on at any given time so I doubt there'd be a crowd problem, especially on one of the smaller networks, like NewNet. It was just a thought for a bit of realtime conversation and getting to know each other a bit.

If anyone is interested, I have a chat area on my personal website. http://www.lynott.us/chat.html that is avaiable. all you nee is AOL Instant Messenger. I set this up for my wife when she was going to college so that she could communicate with classmates on a larger scale. I don't even know when the last time it was used.
Cheers,
Allen

Unfortunately, AOL instant messanger and all the rest of those messanger programs are a huge security hole.
