Almost Kilt Season (for me)
I usually rock my kilts in the Spring. Not cold out, not hot out. Time to lose some weight to be able to do so.

Re: Almost Kilt Season (for me)
Not sure what the weather's like in Ohio, but it was 22 when I left the house this morning, about an inch of new snow on the ground, and a rather frisky breeze. Wore the kilt anyway in honor of The Bard's birthday .

Haven't worn mine to work except once, on a Saturday. I always wear one when I work the local election polls.
It was in the 20's this morning.

Re: Almost Kilt Season (for me)
It's been up in the 80s here for a few days.
Odd weather, I suppose, for the Burns Supper that I'm piping at tonight: bone-dry, hot Santa Ana winds howling, all the clouds blown away out to sea, and the relentless sun beating down.
Well, that's the day anyhow. Yesterday evening it was amazingly lovely, with the warm wind and the sky crystal-clear so that the moon and all the stars were distinctly visible, as opposed to our usual haze and smog.
Pretty much any time of year is Kilt Season here!

Re: Almost Kilt Season (for me)
I am just north of you in Dayton. I am in a kilt about 50% of the time. I don't let the cold stop me. This time of year most of my out door time just going from the car to a building. I go with heavier kilt hose and heavier kilts. I find if I keep the upper body warm I am good.

Re: Almost Kilt Season (for me)
It has been about 7Celsius here the last few days, light jacket weather for me.
Last night the sky was very clear, with the new moon and a bright planet - Jupiter, perhaps? posing for us as we left work in the early evening.
