Good advice, zeytoun. I don't want my flashes to feel like a tourniquet!

I just went down to Wal-mart, and bought grosgrain ribbon in red and pale blue (and the elastic etc.)It should be fairly easy (and cheap ) to construct the flashers.

Good luck Northern Celt. They are super easy to make. Why pay $25 for one pair, when a limited knowledge of sewing, and some supplies under $15 will make you a few pair. Learn from my error, and use a sewing machine for the elastic. Hand sewing was not strong enough.
