USAK Casual Celtic Nations
I just became the proud wearer of a USAK Casual in Celtic Nations. Beautiful tartan! My wife has been wanting me to get a red based kilt that wasn't Wallace, and I was about to get the American Heritage until I saw Zardoz wearing this http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...an-kilt-71788/.
It is a tartan that actually suits me more than any other, except Leatherneck of course. It is also pleated to the stripe with pleases me to no end.
Rocky, please give Ian a big pat on the back for me. The lad done good! There is nothing negative that I can say about it. A job very well done, especially considering that I put this in as a rush order (and as it turned out, I didn't need it rushed... oh well). This is going to get a lot of wear time.

Looks great!
I love my USAK Casual Celtic Nations, too! I wear mine to work with a dress shirt and tie.
I have to say that I am very pleased with my whole collection of USA Kilts: Casual American Heritage/Celtic Nations; Semi-Trad Isle-of-Skye; 8 yd 13oz Armstrong Ancient (my wedding kilt). Thank you, Rocky!

The celtic nations tartan was my choice for a red kilt as well. Mine is the semi-trad and pleated to the sett and so looks quite different, from the back at least. It really is a nice looking tartan no matter how it is presented.

A fine looking tartan, a fine looking man.
I really like how the pleating gives it an almost muted/faded look, then...POW! But, in a house full of kilt wearers, isn't it kind of shellfish to only buy one for yourself?
See what I did there? Shellfish rhymes with selfish and you're wearing that shirt and...
I think I'm going to be sick. That was just bad.

Thanks folks! I think I'm going to need one of these in wool now. I'm really digging it.
Tyler, you are quite right on two counts. The difference between front and back is quite striking, especially in the sun. The camera doesn't do it justice. And yes.. that was bad. Very bad... LOL

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

I really like the pleating pattern! It looks almost green from the back and red from the front that way. Nicely done.
