Formal Cut Bear Kilts
I am working on a Bear Kilts Formal Cut kilt. (My version of a traditional kilt.)
I get asked all the time to make a Formal Cut, so I'm designing one.
The prototype will be in poly/viscose, (Black Stewart), but it will also be available in wool.
•Made entirely of poly/viscose, including the lining.
•Velcro instead of straps for a cleaner visual line.
•Goes up to the navel instead of just the waist.
•Pleats go all the way to the top of the kilt.
•Available in any of my poly/viscose or wool tartans.
Haven't worked out a price yet but it won't be too much more than my other cuts. There is some extra work to making a formal cut, so I'll have to pay my seamstresses more for each kilt.
I've posted this in the traditional Kilts section, too.

The current Bear kilt cuts will still be available though, right? Good job Bear. You keep giving us more and more options from your company

All the other cuts, the classic cut, grizzly cut, and raven cut, will still be available.
And I promised Phil the first formal cut.

I think this may be what I am looking for in the way of a cold weather kilt.

Good news Bear, good move I would say, I'm very sure they will be a quality product in line with your reputation for craftsmanship (no, I'm not after a discount)

But if one is offered.........

I would wonder about Graham if he did not take the discount, remember he is addicted.
