    Photo upload issue

I uploaded a photo this morning, but it doesn't show up in my (only) album. It does show on the "Upload Photos" page, but not in the album.
It is also not possible to edit the caption as it can't be accessed for the "Edit Photo" function.

DrummerBoy, are you referring to your photobucket account or your profile page here?

Profile page here. I use ImageShack rather than PhotoBucket, but as it is a direct upload from my computer, neither is involved in the problem.

I've been having the same prob.
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

Well, actually that may the problem. I'm not a techno guy, but I believe that this site requires that you download photos from an online host site. I don't think you can download photos directly from your computer. I believe that it is a security measure to ensure you/we don't post unsavory pics here. Others may have a different understanding though.

I hope you get it sorted out soon, you know how much we like photos here! .

I have uploaded other photos directly from my computer to my Xmarks album with no problem. In fact, the upload function includes a "Browse" feature enabling searching my hard drive for photos to upload. I have not loaded a photo in the album from an online source. I'll try it that way.

Well, I tried it and it brought up another glitch. It tells me that the file is too large when, in fact, it is smaller than others already in the album.
    Frustrating...

Well DrummerBoy, I guess the photo upload from a host site must only apply to posting photos directly to a thread. It must not apply to posting them to your profile. Either that or you discovered a glitch in the new system. Have you tried posting to a thread directly from your computer?

I have not tried that. It was my understanding that only web-hosted pics could be posted in threads.
