Old Culloden kilts I have made

So the last kilt I shipped out, before "shipping out" myself for holiday, was another Old Culloden kilt. This one is a six yard knife pleated kilt, pleated to the red stripe.

Someone mentioned that they had not seen pictures of this tartan made into a kilt, so I thought I'd oblige with a few others I have made, most of which have been four yard box pleated kilts.

That's beautiful. The pictures I'd seen of the tartan appeared yellow, where this is green, and purple, where this is blue. Very nice, indeed.

Such a fine sett indeed! I like it pleated to the red stripe as well - very interesting look, and my preferred choice of pleating.

I picked up a box pleated kilt's worth of this when I learned some was still available, and have set it aside until I've made a practice box pleat in something a little less special. It's a really beautiful tartan.

Excellent work again.! I really love these 6yd knife-pleated kilts and am glad that folks are discovering them. They work particularly well when there is a nice bold stripe to pleat to.

Those detail shot could maybe make a grown man weep, Matt. Beautiful. It's shots like that that will pull me away from machine stitching soon enough.
