MacFrog Tartan

Hi. This is my first message on this forum. I am already many years interested in the Scottish culture, the idea of clans (in my eyes it represents a stronger bond than the traditional family) and kilts. I only recently bought my first kilt and the necessary attributes.
The Tartan of my kilt is the Scottish National. It is a nice one and it was readily available. I am very pleased with it.
What I am mostly interested in is acquiring a kilt with the MacFrog tartan. I have to explain why: My Family Name is Depuydt. Although there are many interpretations about the origin of the name,
for any Flemish citizen the name means “the frog”. Since my youngest childhood the image of the frog plays an important role in our family.
I was very surprised to find a MacFrog tartan while doing research about tartans. The tartan was created by Mr Richmond to celebrate friendship between Scots and French people. I contacted Mr Richmond and told me my story and asked if the MacFrog tartan could be used as a family tartan for the Depuydt family. He gave his permission and sent me some samples of the fabric.
This happened many years ago. Since then I tried several times to recontact Mr Richmond. But I was unsuccessful.
I am now in doubt about the future of the project to use the tartan for the Depuydt family. Has anyone here some advice about how to proceed?

It is in the Tartan Registry (link) with no restrictions listed. To the best of my knowledge, that means you could contact anybody who is capable of having a tartan woven to order, and get quotes from them for producing the amount you want. As you are in Europe, I'd start with someone on your side of the Atlantic, perhaps Scotweb?

DC Dalgleish can weave it for it without too many problems, a computer mock up is available on their website tartan image don'y worry if the colours are not quite what you are used to they can be easily adjusted.
I'd be happy to help if I can, and a very warm welcome from London, I know the Gent area very well, I used to travel there a lot, in fact I used to drive past the Nazareth Dairy often!

@ paulhenry: I live not far away from the dairy. Only now it is a car wash... Where is the time they made the famous “Nazareth Cheese” there? The cheese still exists but it is made elsewhere. In my eyes it means that it isn't the real thing any more.
