Interesting mix. I remember years ago on USENET a fan fiction story incorporating Star Trek and Highlander. The Immortals kept searching out and fighting each other well into the 23rd century, and I forget if it was Duncan or Conor who ended up on a Federation starship lookin for someone and ending up fighting them in a empty cargo bay.

And I think there was an episode of Classic Trek were Scotty wore a Kilt to a formal dinner for Kahn, I think.
