Just when I thought I didn't need another kilt... I wonder if the cost would go down if a bunch of us were interested? I'd only want the fabric, itself, as I prefer to make my own kilts.

Well sure. As with most things, the more you order the less expensive it gets. If enough is ordered to have the cloth woven at 54" wide the cost drops quite a bit.
