Group Pictures?
Three times in as many days, I have tried to view pictures posted in a group, only to get the message that I have to be a group member to view pictures and posts and do I want to join the group.
I do not know whether this is a glitch or a deliberate policy. If it is a policy, I would like to register a protest. Apart from a moderated area (sin bin) and PMs there should be no areas that are off limits to the membership.
Regards
Chas

Well Chas, the photos in the group are not off limits to the membership, you're just not a member...of that group. . Of course, one of the reasons people create groups is so they can control access to what goes on within them.
If it's any consolation, I had a similar problem with the girls locker room group when I was in high school.

Again, twice today. Pictures I wanted to look at, but could not do so. It was never like this before. If there is a policy change, may we please have a public statement saying so. If there is no policy change, may we please all have access.

So what is going on in these groups that we are not allowed to see - pornography, people trafficking, illegal substances or maybe even kilts and kilting? Amusing answer, but unacceptable.
Is anybody monitoring this, because there was no reply from my first post?

The latest time was the Freelander Sporran group, but really it is all groups. Someone makes a comment about anything; I go and check it out; find that the person is a member of a group; open up the group; look at the thumbnails, but can't open them up. So frustrating. I don't really fancy joining every single group just to see the pictures. And the annoying thing is that we used to be able to view, before the changeover.
Thanks for looking into this.
Regards
Chas
