Scottish-American Athletic Association tartan

The primarily Southern-California group that stages the Heavy Athletics at most of the games in So Cal, but also in Idaho and Washington, registered a tartan many years ago. One of my throwers at Monterey this weekend, was wearing a kilt in this tartan and it incited some interest. I honestly did not know that it was a specially designed tartan, I thought it was a clan tartan that got picked up and used. Surprise, surprise!

I thought the X Marks folks might like a look at it.

It's very cool. I like it! It will probably look really spectacular when the pleats are all a-fly when throwing or tossing. Did I say, "I liked it?"

...though you could probably get some of the stuff woven if you wanted it in a heavier fabric...lots of $$$
