    Reproduction Douglas, Hard tartan

A few teaser pics of a kilt I'm shipping out this morning. This one is a six yard knife pleated kilt, made from Douglas reproduction tartan. This is also the unfinished "hard tartan" cloth I began offering a few months back. A bit stiffer and more coarse than the normal tartan cloth one is used to. This is a fine kilt and I hope the owner enjoys it!

Its a beautiful tartan. I love the texturing in the fabric. Looks like it makes a fantastic kilt. No doubt the recipient will be ecstatic!

Matt: I don't know how you get those great pictures. It's difficult for me to get decent snapshots. Contrary to my expectation anyway, the bit of blurring in the foreground seems to add to the depth of field and palpability of the cloth. Those pleats look exquisite.

I agree with ScotFree. I have a feeling that the owner of that prize kilt is going to love it.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

That is a beautiful tartan, and a beautiful kilt. I'm sure the owner will be very pleased.

This tartan is very eye catching!
Also the kilt looks wonderful, a fine piece of craftsmanship that is bound to last for many years to come.
