Scruffy Wallace Semi Traditional Picture.

Well it has taken me some time to finally take a photo of me in my new Scruffy Wallace, but better late than never. As always I love USAkilts Semi Traditional. At first when I received the package and saw that the kilt was pleated to the stripe I thought I have made a mistake in ordering as I wasn’t a fan of the military style pleating. Well after wearing the kilt all I can say now is that I have become a HUGE fan of this style of pleating to the stripe and I am so happy all around with this kilt.

Dig it! Looks sharp, and I think it's a really awesome looking tartan. Pics never do it justice...they always seem too bright or too drab. I think it's like a hunting tartan and modern or dress tartan got cross-bred. I recieved the same one several weeks back, and it has become my personal favorite. I think it's good to wear like you are...that's what Scruffy does!

I will have to take another photo and upload a picture of the pleats. When my wife took this photo I was just hanging out with a friend and it didn't even occur to me to take a picture of the pleats for this site.

I prefer to wear the kilt in a very casual way, without the sporran etc. I strongly believe that kilts should be an everyday part of men's clothing today and hope people see that a kilt doesn't have to be just worn for auspicious or ceremonial occasions but are an everyday wear also that is a far more comfortable option than pants or shorts.

ah yer killin me... I've been experiencing a different and far more frustrating kind of jonesing - that of wanting the Scruffy semi-trad, but of battliing the budget and the other necessities of life until I can afford it, all the while worrying sick that they'll run out of fabric before I finally balance my world and take the plunge...

you've nearly pushed me completely over the precipice of to hell with bills I'm buyin that... shame on ya...

(the only positive to this is that it tends to distract me from the two 5.11 tacticals that should be here soon...)

It's my go to kilt as well.I find that GGGP was right it's also the one that gets the most comments. My son wears his two or three times a week, It's great a SW kilt, little polo, black hose and light up Spiderman shoes.
