Cheers, Simon. It will be about 8-10 weeks after I submit my order to Tim, so I hope you are a patient man! Photos in due course, naturally.

I pre-spent my tax refund on the USAkilts semi-trad I ordered a few weeks ago, it wasn't going to be a big enough refund to get a tank. Seems like tax return season may be helping out the kilt industry this year haha.

Slainte,
Sounding very nice Kyle. I was perusing their site just yesterday, some very nice tweed and I love the cut of their waistcoats. When you eventually get it please remember those pics.

Have your payroll department withhold an extra $10/week in taxes. That's the price of a lunch, but at the end of the year adds $500 to whatever return you might otherwise receive (or helps bump you closer to break-even, if you'd otherwise owe.)

I am quite fond of the cut of their waistcoats too. I love the Van Dyke style pocket flaps with buttons and the single-breasted lapels; such a smart, traditional look that I admire very much. I'll be sure to post pics once it arrives in the spring!

Or have your bank automatically transfer the same amount into a (piteously low rate of) interest-bearing acct and bring yourself even closer. . .
20 years self-employed and even prior to that I did my best to always owe a little bit at the end of the year. Why make an interest-free loan (unless, of course, it's the only way you can make yourself save without "stealing" from it along the way). And if you were to truly need the money, it's there.
But nothing wrong with boosting the kilt-maker economy, wherever the gains came from! Looking forward to pictures of all these goodies.

Can't wait to see that Ron. Do you know if that's the first blue one for Robert?
