I've searched too, and I still don't know what the tartan's for either, I just chose it because I liked it the most of the ones on Bear's site.

I'll wait for an explaination from the Kiltmakers that offer this one up. If it goes too long, I'll let you know. This ought to be good, but let Bear answer last.
You can inquire to the Kilt companies that offer it in emails... then post what you get back (if anything).

Beats me!
Best I can find out is from Marton Mills and all their site says is that it's Scottish.
Ask an expert. I just make 'em!
