Spirit of Scotland
Hi there, I'm curious about the Celtic Croft 50/50 Spirit of Scotland. The online site has this image, which clearly has a white stripe:
While the printed catalog has this:
Which looks like SoS, especially on the page. My photo of the catalog page, above, is not that great, but does look more like this than photo #1.
I know at least two XMarks folks have this kilt in this tartan, but the photo links no longer work. Can you or someone from Celtic Croft verify if there is a white stripe or not?

According to the Scottish Tartans Authority (STA) and the Scottish Register of Tartan there is no white stripe. The STA colour sequence shows no white.

Exactly! Which is why I want to verify that the CC kilt will be at least close to the standard and that the online photo is just wrong and the catalog is correct.

Why not just call them and ask? I'm sure that one of the owners can tell you what you want to know. I have never had any problem with them and I have spoken with both the owner and his wife and they are both great people to work with and I'm sure they will answer any questions that you may have. You can reach them at 1-888-569-4373.
