Each mill has their own variations, they are not really better or worse just different. I use all three mills, and am happy to choose from any of them, they don't always have everything in stock and there are price differences as well. I tend to work from swatches and see which I like best. As always the best advice is to get some samples and choose from those. They do have different selvedges but I wouldn't really be too concerned as each weaver produces a quality cloth.

I would leave it up to my kiltmaker. It just so happens that Paul IS my kiltmaker. He is the specialist. He (more than) knows whats he is doing. I Therefore trust his choice.
