New Hose for Celtic Nations Tartan Kilt

Here is Steve in the hose I just completed for his Celtic Nations tartan kilt. Yes, they are flashy. Why should the McLeod family have all the fun?

They are premium German sock yarn, Zauberball. The red and black portions, I dyed myself.

Putting a black round in, every 5th round, made it easier to match the legs for placing decreases.

    Yes, incredible.

And here I am - in the "jones-stage" - I was measured last Thursday (in the USAKilts store) - for a 5 Yard Celtic Nations - in Wool.

I am, indeed, envious of that legwear. ;)

Great-looking hose! I can only imagine how much work was involved, because I wouldn't know where to begin. They look good with the Celtic Nations tartan and would also with many other tartans. Congratulations.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Those are marvy! I've often seen Zauberball for sale in shops, but have never seen it worked up. I like the black stripe decrease rows. Good work, all around.

Very nice Theresa; they look great on Steve. I took the liberty of viewing your picture album and saw some of your other handy work; well styled, creative knitting. Your husband is a lucky man.
