A wool kilt is the best in winter.

Winter is really the best time of the year to wear a wool kilt. It keeps you so warm but at the same time it keeps you comfortable, you lower body can breath. Also, when you sit down, it is like having a warm bla nket on your lap. But at the same time you can sit down next to a nice wood fire and still feel so comfy.... in fact just doing that right now.

I would have to agree. It was 8*F up here today and except for a couple of sudden changes in direction of the wind I was warm and well. The one down side would be that due to one of those flaws of wind it is possible that I may no longer be able to father any more children.

Nah, If I can still father children after years of post sauna sitting in snow banks, you ought to be fine. In fact the sudden change in temperature is good cardiovascular exercise. Let 'em swing, that's what mother nature invented them for!
