Helping out the Salvation Army
My parish sponsors a kettle at a local mall. Now, if you want donations, you have to catch people's eye first...

Splendid idea. I'm sure it does catch the eye of many shoppers - it's a good-looking outfit.

As I've posted recently, a favorite December event for my family is to attend the Scottish Christmas Walk in Alexandria VA. After the parade, I generally spend a bit of time "sitting in" with the bell ringers at the Salvation Army kettles, to help draw them some extra business. A good time is usually had by all.

All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.

Well done to both of you.
The Salvation Army does a wonderful job helping those in need. There's no doubt in my mind your help does not go unnoticed.

A very worthy cause - when my paternalgrandparents were dying, both died of cancer, the SA couldn't have been more helpful, caring and compassionate.
A heartfelt congratulations and thank you.
