As it turned out, it was a flannel and jeans affair. Here's the updated obit I found early Friday morning: http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/a...IT01/701099962
This is the operable language from the obit: "Billy would be honored best if you show respect by attending Spagnolo-style, wearing flannel and jeans."
So that is what I did. Had to scramble Friday morning before leaving, find decent jeans, iron two flannel shirts, bring my hiking boots. I don't think anybody had even a tie on.
Weather was terrible. Snow all the way up (5-6 hour drive), then rain, flooding & fog all the way home yesterday. It's good to be home!
