    Attacking my first X Kilt

    Last week I bought the materials for making my first X Kilt.

    This the pattern I chose. Its 100% polyester.
    1 Ironing.jpg2 Laid out prior to cutting.jpg3 after cutting.jpg4 Fell marked.jpg
    The cloth after ironing, cutting & fell marked on both piece.

    Tomorrow I start making the pleats etc. & hopefully get some sewing done

    Well I did it.
    Im very happy with the results. While I made a kilt (& will make others), I wouldnt call myself a kiltmaker!

    Oh yes there will be more kilts.
