Naming of old tartans - how to get it wrong

Here's an article on a tartan usually claimed by or associated with the Frasers but actually their claim is pretty weak and only through marriage. If one was going to give this a clan name then by rights it would be the oldest know sett associated with the MacTavishes, or at least one family there of.
