That's out of line. Not everyone is as blessed as you are to afford such extravagancies. A used outfit in good hire condition is nothing at all like wearing another man's underwear but that kind of attitude sure stinks like a ripe old pair of drawers.
If you can afford the finer things that are custom made to fit you and only you, then quit sulking and go buy them. I'm starting to regret trying to help you out.

It is not a question weather I can afford the kilt or not, it is the idea, that the kilt makers that I have contacted all have different prices for all people, they advertise one price, but when you email them, it is a different price. I contacted a few suppliers like I was advised, I was told what to expect in price, but when I told them that so and so referred me and it was my first purchase the price went up. I have tried to email others , but never got a response, although I mailed them three times. My saying, they treat first timers different, almost like we had the plague

typo
Drat! You've sussed out their cunning plan! Yes, those dastardly kiltmakers are in league with That One Guy From Xmarks, lying in wait until some hapless n00b stumbles into their clutches.
*facepalm*
Please, get thee to ebay or etsy and just buy a kilt already and quit whining.
And with that comment I promise The Rabble that I will feed the troll no longer.

Or what they want to pay for them to each their own. But it was somewhat insulting when two of the so call top kiltmakers in the world and I got their names off the xmark, one wanted $970 and the other one wanted $990, probably because I am a newcomer and not so knowledgeable in the kilt market, shows that even the top drawer people will take advantage when they can. Larry, sorry, but I've got to be blunt here. It is impossible (repeat IMPOSSIBLE) to make mans kilt properly (even machine stiched) in one hour. Listen to what people on here are saying. Steve Ashton (the owner here) is a professional kiltmaker and knows what he is talking about.
$990 and $970 are figures easy to throw around. I'm sure that no one asked for that price to make you a macine made kilt (and nothing else).

Ahhhh... The dreaded Internet Troll!!!!
First one I've seen in my short time on this board. Don't y'all know that on the Internet, EVERYONE is a 6'5" bodybuilder/model/MMA-fighter with a Ph.D., an MD, and an endless supply of wealth?!?!?!
BTW, that reminds me - I need to ask my personal valet if the chauffeur is back yet. He was taking my backup Rolls Royce to be pick up the solid gold kilt I ordered......

Well, well , well, I see the shoes seem to bother you don't they little girl. I was just making a point, the truth is I own more than one pair of shoes. I like you do not wear the same shoes every day , just like I don't wear the same pants and shirt every day. You and I are from the same town, and you should know that there are different prices for different people, we live in it every day here is SW Missouri, and trust me it is the same all over the world. Some are upset with me because I have a bank account. I got it by working everyday, and I saved my money and took care of it. But I will admit that is considered a crime her in Missouri. But I will leave it at that, and let you get on with wearing your dresses, what next bras and panthose, but I strongly suspect that under your dress, you are already wearing them. adew
